Yup. Spray paint. Still, it's a 4-speed 326 convertible.

Mechanically, this Can Am is fully sorted and heavily upgraded, having just received a fresh, no-expense-spared mechanical rebuild in May 2026 totaling $4,470.12.

The car looks pretty good, but whoever chose the suspension is shooting rubber bands at the stars. The space the ladder bars need to travel to engage would probably require slicks running 8psi, with a monster motor built for the 1/4 mile. Why? Why jack the car up like a 4X4? I duuno what the car is worth, but it would be worth more if they made it look stock with the 17" Rally II's.

73 455 4-speed in CA at $59K BIN. Delete Ram Air for -$27...? WTF? I guess the chrome tissue dispenser in the dealership was shiny that day and the buyer needed to make some room. I thought 73's didn't come with Ram Air? .. especially in CA.

I didn't know that. Seems odd to point it out, instead of just removing it.

The delete was only on the window sticker, not the PHS document. On page 95 of the Rocky Rotella book, he details the end date of the option and just how the credit was given. Interesting to note that the Super Duty Trans Ams and Formula 455 SD cars also had no ram air.

WCGTO, The credit was listed on the PHS since it had a cost associated to it. All TA's/SD Formula's with the shaker scoop were sealed from the factory since its application with the shaker door open exceeded drive-by noise limits at full throttle (hard to believe the feds didn't like that Q-jet roar!).

It's list as "TRANS AM OPT"...WS4

I question the test. Not sure how the 74 GTO 350 got a functioning shaker.
