Nice. I like how the front seats have the wear patina but no rips - color is great, back when cars had a dozen different colors.

Excellent! That's a beautiful color interior without looking cheap. I hope it grows on you.
Nice car! |

The C5-C7 Vettes are brutes when you start modifying them. I recently sold my C7 and I miss it. I've been eyeing C6Zs lately. The new Poncho is sweet tho! Sometimes a change is needed, and every now and then we're gifted an easy sale/trade that makes sense.

Really like the stacked head lights and smooth rear quarters. I think I'm falling in love.

I dig the color combo. But I'm partial -- looks the same as mine.
67 Mariner Turqoise over Turquoise interior. A head turner, IMO. |

That's definitely true for me about colors. Things I would never have considered at the time now look really cool to me. A lot depends on certain car and color combos too.

i thought this had an old holley looking at the dual feed line...come to find out it has a new 600 qft vac secondary carb. once i started looking, i seen the cable was not in the right spot only giving less than half throttle. also modulator valve was connected to metered vacuum, advance was connected to full vacuum. runs considerably better now. its peppy taking off, but itll cruise 80-90 barely in the gas...no tach.

I don't really think it was a bad trade. I'm at the point where I'm sick of seeing an LS or LT platform engine in everything, I was in it 25 years ago during the"tuner wars" stuff, now I look forward to not seeing an LS in anything. If you ever need any C5/C6 stuff, I still have a lot of parts. I have an LS7 block with a cracked sleeve (LS7 is the only LS block with replaceable sleeves) and a 5.7 LS1 that I need to reassemble. If I feel the need to do anything new-ish I'll swap a GN engine into something. I still have a pair of 89 TTA heads laying around....

the c6z kinda fell in lap, i really didnt want it when i was fixing it for the seller. the valve guide problem sucks with ls7s along with depending on your luck, if the sleeve cracks, alot of times the block does too. that and alot of the discontinued parts. i will say it was alot more car than my c5, but i only bought the c5 as a childhood goal. im definitley glad i got the pontiac...but...when i was happy about the 2nd gear scratch it did...i started thinking about the vettes murdering the tires at 40 or 50 mph rolls. they do have a gear advantage though...i dont doubt this 400 will knock some tires off with good gears |
