I may have posted this question before but can’t find it using search function. I’ll be sure to record the answer this time. Rebuilding engine in my 66 GTO using Fel Pro gasket set 2601025. It contains two different intake gaskets(see photos attached) . Which is correct A or B? A is stamped 90205 and R3. B is stamped 9980 and R 4. Also, does the printed side of gasket face the head or the intake or does it even matter?

A is for 1972 and later intakes with any year heads.
B is for 1971 and earlier intakes and heads. |

Okay B it is. Does it matter which side of gasket faces the intake?
