TACH WIRE HELP

Need to know that the tach wire to dist. is the creme colored one coming out top/right above fuse box that spices into an orange wire with brown connector.

Those pics sure do bring back a bunch of memories.....good and have to live with.
Make sure you can't see or feel the line at the two tone seperation.
Especially on the hood and fender tops.
The new decal will make minor imperfections look huge.

I think most people let it go and I've seen it on several repaints over the years.
Just something that gets overlooked easy in all the excitement.

BTW Looking good there!!

I will post up some info on my TATA 4-speed along with some pics. Mine is still factory paint, but has some scratches, chips and door dings from being driven over 50k miles. I have been contemplating repainting it, but it still looks decent, even with all the flaws. Hard to remove that original paint because it is that way only once!

I had no idea this thread existed. I have a 4 speed being restored right now. Had an automatic lost in a fire. Car is about 80% finished, hope to be on the road this summer.

For those that may be interested I started a registry myself a couple of years ago. It is not public at this time. IF anyone has pointers on how to take it to the next level I am open to suggestion. I collect info from classifieds and by asking around. To date I have about 80 cars listed with the breakdown being about half manual half automatic.

The Following User Says Thank You to TAKerry For This Useful Post:

Alvin, your posts made me look on the web & I found that back issue. Should be at my home in a few days. One more magazine to add to my small collection.
