To be perfectly honest with you, Im probably going to an EFI E head motor in Baileys car with a glide and go bracket racing, NHRA Super Street or Super Gas

I want to sell the 525 and Jeff is the best guy to demonstrate it.

The Cobalt is probably getting a Chevy engine because I can't get a short deck block and I have to go through a LONG LONG LONG process to get NHRA to allow the Pro Port heads or spend a s**t ton of money on the RPM heads to make them work.

Maybe I should build a super stock 68 Catalina with the round port 188cc flat top piston 428 that was available in those models? NHRA approved that one.

Now I'd take a piece of that action because I've got a set of the best iron D ports around in my 66 Bonneville. Of course you'll have to run the fender skirts to make it fair.

This is pretty much the norm for grudge racing. A lot of BS and no racing!

Jeff, if you ever get this engine in your car let me know when and where you will be testing.

This thread reminds me of the hustle game with three cups and a pebble.

The truth is, this thread is a distraction from the ice and snow outside for most of us. Gotta have some fun in the winter somehow.

Carry on...

Your a do nothing talker. Mostly you race your mouth.

You been dancing around like a ballerina trying to make excuses and change rules and change cars and change pistons etc. you are not going to do anything. Except avoid what you said you wanted.

so what your saying is I can't update my engine which was built in 2007, have to be 300# heavier and 40 less cubic inches and this race will be fair?

I dont have time to find it but you already said the heads were recently updated.

I think you can't help yourself. If you think it you say it and then it's true.

Just stop whining and line up. Or give it to Jeff.

Jeffs car 3150 pounds and 525 cubic inches which is exactly 6 pounds per cubic inch, in the real racing world that would make your car have to weight 3390 pounds to make a fair race.

So basically what your saying is you are going to need an almost 400 pound weight break.
