Never said it was simple, you have to know what you're doing and i haven't a clue, i'll refer to your knowledge on the matter

I'm sorry....didn't mean it like it sounds....I was just helping you get your car in the 3's. Lots of people talking about the Eheads not being that good....but no one is stepping to the plate.

No one has ever said there (e head) wasnt a OK head, they are what they are and no more! Ever other head out there flows better then the e head. If you know what your doing numbers make a difference. Like I said before Pro Mods don't run e-heads for a reason. Just saying!

Technically shouldn't Chief have three cars on the top ten list?

I don't know all 3 had the same engine and trans. This last one has most of the parts from the first two. LOL!

I'm making around a 1000 horse on my 421 turbo combo with 18 psi of boost, still using home modded factory iron heads and a flat tappet cam! I'm not using them just 'cos I'm a tight arse, there are benefits to an iron head. I'm turning the wick up this year shooting for around the 1200 hp mark, maybe 1400. I'd run out of my chassis tag if I fitted a nice pair of CV1's !

I think it may have been posted on here before but what does a BAE head flow? And yes I realize flow numbers are only a small part of the equation

George notice there is not 1 Pontiac motor in that class.
Yes Pontiacs are out dated junk, there is a place in a Pontiac guys hearts but in the big racing world we are as old and as out dated as you.

Chief stated in his podcast that his new car is definitely faster than his Crow Mod.

I am not the one slamming everyone and how fast they go, you just called Chief out if he adds 700 lbs. He will take all of your retirement money.Beleeeeeeedaattttt! Don't write a check that your car can't cash.

That's more 1/8th mile MPH than Jeff Kauffman's 5 second pass, if anybody is counting. 😜
It would be nice to see a slip of Big Chief's run.

Kauffman's run was skating down the track.
60' time was bad, not far from mine, and I run 8's

Why don't you remove weight, change your pulley ratio, and run him heads up?

Why don't I remove weight.........GOOD question........my car is a TRUE STEEL bodied car, I think it still has some undercoating on the body. LOL! The Chassis on my car is over 30 years old (Mild Steel). Its got so many BIG heavy bars in it that I could probably make another chassis out or it. LOL! All the add on bars (per NHRA) are chrome moly but the guy never took any bars out just added on! Like I've said with me in it 3,200 lbs., its all I can afford! Changing pulleys.......... the BEST my blower ever put out was 20 lbs.........still a long way from 40-50 lbs of boost. So it is what it is a Quick, Heavy, Bracket Pontiac car!

Well glad Big Chief saw some 1.02 60 ft times in testing.

The car has been there for years or even quicker.

My Grandfather once said: "If the dog had not stopped, he would have caught the rabbit too." He was wise beyond his 93 years young. RIP.
