I wonder how big the Kinko's (or Office Max) scanners are. Mine is only 12x17.

I called one of the local FedEx/Kinkos centers and they said they had a copier machine that could do it. $3.99 a square foot, so about $8 a color copy of this size. I'll have to call and ask again how much if just black and white, although it would lose the patina'ed look.

Thanks for the link!! Not sure how I missed the original discussion. I too had thought my knobs had yellowed over the years and were originally clear. When you look at the prices for NOS, mine work just fine for now. I'll look into the different sources suggested. As always I appreciate the great feedback from the PY'ers!

Here's a few more items that are ready for final assembly.

Driveshaft strap bolts. These are the older part number called out in the assembly manual. These have been superceded by part number 14018700.

One good thing about western Washington state is that nothing tends to yellow or fade much.....*chuckle*

Here's the fuel and volts gauge set - without the lens installed yet. The faces just needed a little cleaning and they are good as new - I think anyway.

The round look just comes from the black plastic housing cover just behind the lens. And, of course, the round holes in the dash bezel.



Now, here's the challenge. Compare Mike's fuel/volt gauges that he had redone to mine that are stock. Can you tell what is different? Shhhh.....don't tell Mike.....

Have you been assembling any of those parts on your car? Amazing how many little unique pieces are on these TAs!

I hung the doors....meaning they are free hanging. But, I haven't adjusted them to the opening yet. I was thinking about putting the glass in and a couple of other pieces like the latch to give the door a weight closer to reality so I don't have to compensate or readjust it later once I install the glass.

Anyone have any thoughts on door adjustments and what worked well for them? I know I need to align the back edge with the quarter panel and the lower edge with the rocker panel. Any other concerns to consider?

My interior is blue in this case. If you scroll up to post #268 you can see the blue on the garnish molding for the "A" pillar and the overhead pieces that help retain the headliner.

If you see anything that looks off in what I post please feel free to speak up. I only do the same to try to help others - just ask Mr. BentWheel. I've shared one of my spreadsheets with him and realized I may be a bit OCD. But, I think he liked it.
