I need to pull out my old used horn button and see how bad it is. I know the center is scratched up some.

I did snag the new one using a best offer on eBay. Correct for 1970-1981, but I'll just paste in the one reference. I know some of you enjoy the pictures.

I recognize the LF symbol as being made by Littlefuse company. Interesting, don't think I've ever noticed that before.
Keep 'em coming Chad!

Hi Ric. I'll do my best to keep pics coming. I've got a few more interesting things to share.

Ya, once the extension is hooked up you barely notice the LF. I'm glad you recognized it as Littelfuse Company. I was curious what it stood for and that makes total sense.

I pulled out a Littelfuse and balanced it on end so I could get a bit of a focus on it. You might be able to see the same LF characters that Ric mentioned (correctly) is/was their logo.

Fun stuff, I think.

Here's the 1970 and 1971 only idler arm. Surprised to finally find one. Bob saw it first and he said he was trying to figure out a way he could use it on his 1972!!

Chad, I like that idler arm but that horn cap looks a bit strange to me

Craig, are you talking about the 480444 horn button? Let me know what you think is strange. I've got 3 used ones here and it looks same to me, but people sometimes see things that I don't, too.

Thanks
Chad

Could just be the picture but it looks way to crowned to me.

I get that same impression, too. Just an optical illusion of the picture. Same crown as the other 3 from a different angle.

Ric traded with me so I ended up with a front left and right marker lamp.

His was in an older cardboard sleeve.

917399 2.575 All F LAMP, front marker LH 1970 1975 2-55

The ones I've had were in either a box like this or a newer sleeve with clear on one side.

Mike, that one sold last week to another forum member. Now I wish I had more. Ain't that always the case.....

Bob says to tell you there are 20 on eBay if you search on the part number.

That is a beauty. $225? Seems like a decent price. And it doesn't look yellowed at all, which is a bonus. I had one in the box but it was yellowed on top before I got it and I was never happy with it so I resold it some time ago.

I do have this one not in a box. A reproduction I assume. Still, a far cry better than the old one.

Ok guys, refresh my memory on how easiest to tell a repro knob from a GM original. Something about the height of the plastic top in relation to the "leather"?
Some of the "NOS" knobs in GM boxes I've seen on eBay look like repros.
