Looked like he rolled thru the light and red lighted. He would have walked all over the import.

Anyone catch Chiefs back to back 4.03 @ 185 passes @ the Outlaw Streetcar Reunion? Man he made it look easy and took the fastest Pontiac record to the 1/8th from Butler.

Steve Dale ran a 3.993 and Jeff Kauffman ran a 3.927, so Chief is actually #3. Still pretty rare air, and I think he'll break it on big tires.

Yes, but Justin did it at 2700# on little tires with just a handful of passes on the car.

Yea, but he is killing a lot of power down low to make it hook. Let him put the big tires on it and I bet it goes 3.80s with all the weight out of it which is still heavier then both of the other cars by a few hundred pounds!

The Crowmod is lighter, more aerodynamic, has the ability to run quicker and faster so............... I smell a fox in the chicken house. Tom V.

It's all about tuning from here. If the rotating assembly is staying together which it seems to be doing with back to back runs, it will be careful tuning that continues to move him forward. I don't believe there is intentional sandbagging going on. He and the smart group of guys he is working with including the Butlers are taking baby steps the smart way to go faster without destroying the engine, wrecking the car, and giving Justin a chance to get really comfortable in the new car if something does happen. Just smart racing. Certainly the car has lots left in it. It still has less than 25-30 passes on a completely new car. Not a big turbo fan on a personal level, don't especially love the look of the Crowmod. BUT IF YOU LOVE PONTIACS, you just have to love what this is doing for the hobby! Justin is standing by the Pontiac engine when he had many opportunities to jump ship to a different engine platform with the new car. HE IS A PONTIAC GUY and has stated that publicly many times. I can see another .15-.20 in the eighth by the end of this season. Go Pontiac.

Actually the article is somewhat correct, he does hold a new world record he has the fastest Pontiac powered door car, jeff kauffmans dragster doesnt have doors and steve dales gto doesnt have doors, so he is #1 with doors, his car is extremely fast and with a Pontiac engine running and out running the radial vs world cars thats awesome if ya ask me, and was pretty cool to see justin drag Tom Bailey's ass down the 1/8th that pass won me some money right there so thanks justin lol

George I took justin the only set of 113M main bearings I had down to lights out 7 and he and his guys hooked us up for the weekend very cool guys but back to subject we were talking and they made him weigh in at 2700lbs with a Pontiac edelbrock headed motor but they let Keith Haney with his 900+ci billet motor promod with 5 stages of nitrous weigh in at 2550 lbs, so justin is obviously making some enormous power that little 482ci PONTIAC has to weigh more than a billet motor in my opinion he should be able to weigh less than Haney did then we may have already seen a 3.xx pass out of the crowmod

When did Justin ever run a 4.03 in the old LeMans? I think he stated that thing never ran quicker than 4.30s because it was too heavy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The paper doesn't lie. Humans do. The car is super fast. That's the bottom line. Pulling a vacume on the Kauffman's privates won't slow it down. I give respect where it's earned.
