Cool Could be worse...

Imagine if this joker had someone's original RA IV block!

Nobody is going to pay this moron $3500 for this tattered piece of paper. This is worth $50-100 max to the person that owns the actual car. I own an original 69 Judge. I have a lot of documentation, but not the original window sticker. If this clown offered this to me for $3500, I'd tell him to go wipe his ass with it.

Thanks to PHS, this is not a vital piece of documentation. Hell, a repro window sticker can be made from the info on the PHS docs...

I have to say that I 100% agree with BLKBRD.... this paperwork belongs to that car.... not you, not me, not anyone!! If I would have it, it would be yours, free! Met a guy at a show this summer, he bought a 69 judge years ago and the owner REFUSED to give him the paperwork after showing it to him!!! He even offered more $$$ for it and the guy said he wanted it as a momento!!!! peckerwood!! Personally, I wouldn't have bought the dang car under those circumstances. Everyone's different, but if this is the same guy that refused to pass on the paperwork with the car and is now trying to sell it.... well, I won't even type what I think should happen to such an individual. Of course, I have no idea wether there is any correlation, I just hope there is not!!

For 3500 I would want the title, vin plate, trim plate, correct rivets and 273 carb along with what he has - at minimum.

IF that were the actual stuff for my Judge, would do the same as someone else mentioned. Thank him for the safe-keeping in his drawer and make about a 100-200 offer tops.

Otherwise, suggest he frame it and wall mount it himself. Maybe offer to email a picture of the Car restored and a close-up of the vin he could have framed and mounted as well - for $3500.

If this were an LS6 Chevelle with no other documentation it might be worth it. But thanks to PHS it's not needed. I agree with what's already been posted, offer him a hundred bucks and if he says no, walk away.

I agree, I have several RAIV blocks, if the owner posted something, I wouls tell them to find me another block & swap no $ diff.
btw: I agree w/the O jackoff glove comment. I can't believe that maggot plays golf etc. while two people are 6 feet under.
