Guys,
Appreciate the support on this. The seller is being much more responsive now... He has fed-ex'ed me a bunch of stuff at this point, including the spare rim, jack, a/c parts.. original intake. It turns out, he had the original tranny (or what sounds like the original tranny, based on the stampings) at his brother's house. He says he is also sending that. The case has been welded, but maybe its usable. So, I'll have a 70 GTO 4-speed a,c with a matching #'s welded trans. :-) OOoooooooh Apparently someone from the boards gave him a nasty call.. I think at this point we can "call off the dogs" Thanks, Fred |
