Latest news is he is a 37 yo. black man out on bail with 8? felony counts. The officers didn't go down without a fight. One fired back from the table and another one made it outside and struggled with him and died there. God rest there souls. I like Huckabee but I would like to know the story behind commuting his 95 year sentence after 11 years. What ever the reason it was a terrible move. Could it have been pressure from the black community to release this poor black man who was being persecuted? I'm sure the dems will get to the bottom of it. In any case I think it is the end of his pos. run for prez. in 2012.

Jack.

Have to be insane to be a cop? Guess I'm insane then lol.... it may be dangerous but it's a rewarding career (not very 'monetarily' rewarding however...). Truth is a lot of officers get into their rutine and let their guard down. I don't blame the officers however, I mean who would ever expect to get shot getting coffee with their friends in a public place at the beginning of their shift?

Yes -they were probably totally surprised -like what happened to the 4 RCMP officers that were gunned down in Alberta -beyond comprehension .

Jack.
I'm wondering what the logic is behind this? It seems out of context.

I don't want to make light of the subject of anyone dying ( except for the scumbag shooter), and I certainly don't know anything about being a police officer. What are they doing sitting in a coffee shop if their shift started? Isn't that what a squad room is for/ to recieve assignments and plan for the day. Sounds like they had a routine and the scumbag knew it.

Having a coffee and a donut, who the fuk cares WHY they were there. Sometimes I go into our lunch room early, real early if I can. Again who the FUK cares. Four guys gunned down
and the question is, Why were they in the coffee shop. Don`t take it the wrong way sir,
but you should get some kind of award for asking that question. You asked the question,
now there is nothing you can say to ward off the peoples thinking of you. Most likey that place was or is there lunch room.

Nothing but mistakes regarding this guy:

He served 11 years on a 95 year sentence in AR at 17y.o.

Gets commuted sentence by Huckabee.

Back inside the slammer for parole violation 3+ years later.

Second degree rape of a child and posts a $150,000 bond.
Wonder where he got the $15,000 he had to chip in?
Assualt on LEO, as well.

Other charges in WA including making wife and young relatives strip naked.

Walking around telling others he was Jesus.

Sounds like fourth officer may have shot him, mortally from earlier reports today.

I really hope thats correct....I had the hardest time believing that 4 officers ,with their training, could get shot and killed by one guy wih one gun! Someone or a couple had to be able to return fire....

I wonder if this was a Camlann-type incident? Guy goes to get a coffee (must have missed all those cop cars in front), barista spots illegal gun and freaks - deadly mayhem ensues.

You KNOW why he isn't there...there's no money to be made for him there. Now if all 4 cops were Black and the perp' were White, he'd be outside that coffee shop right now with his bullhorn, rallying his troops.

why is anyone surprised that this guy got off 4 (or more) shots? the police officers were presumably right next to each other and attacked with no warning. two of them were probably not even facing their attacker. anyone with a 10 round mag and the element of surprise can easily do what he did, and without any previous professional training.

well, I am surprised...but the witnesses may clear it up for me...unless he walked right up to them , and was standing right behind or really close by , so he was able to pull his one gun on them at very close range...I dont think an untrained guy can shoot 4 armed , trained officers that easily...
one or two of them would have reacted, thrown themselves to the side/down while pulling weapon(s)....maybe one did?
I certainly hope so.

I might suggesting reading up on what actually happened before making any other speculative posts.

Default And

The police have 3? family members and or friends in custody with more on the way. they hope to have 7 or 8 people in custody when all is said and done for aiding and hiding this Scum Bag. As I am typing this the police announced they have 5 now in custody. It is reported that some of these people gave false tips to the police to lead them away from the from the now dead SOB.

Jack.
