Keith,
I had to run to Metrics Unlimited on Wed. A.M., got to see the show at 45 MPH down Van Dyke. LOL!!

That Tri-power convertible 59/60? parked against the fence on Van Dyke got my attention going by. The 82 T/A with the blower belongs to a guy named Mike Misolvec who's dad I used to rent a garage from years ago.

I can't tell you how many hours I spent helping put together Jeff Dennisons' 69 GTO baack in 1988/89 when it was restored. He purchased that car from a boyhood friend of mine named Ralph. His wife works there with you at the tech center. Her name is Syndee Claeys Lampar.

My brother is still working on getting his 62 Tempest together, I'm sure he would get a kick out of seeing your 63 Vert if you grace us with your presence Sunday at the Gratiot cruise!!!

I couldn't get a good pic of Mike's car - there was always a crowd of people around it!

I know who Syndee Lampar is; I'll have to mention this the next time I see her. Is she any relation to Ray Claeys?

I am planning on the Gratiot cruise but was going to bring the Grand Prix. I could make some calls and see if I can get the convertible there, too.

Thanks for sharing the pics Keith. There is some seriously awesome rides at that show. Looks like 1961 is a popular year for taking a walk on the dark side.

Keith,
That's Ray's oldest daughter. I also went to school with her. She had a 68 Firebird conv. that had my old GTO motor in it. She also had an 88 GTA. Her brother Scott, Ray's oldest son, works there also IIRC.

Don't let me tell you which car to bring!! just happy to see you.

Yes - Scott had his Grand National there. I used to race against his wife Laurie in her Hurst Olds in the National Street Car Assoc.
