Sweet car, John.

Definitely gauges; that's a no brainer. Both of my 69 Judges were hood tach/idiot light cars, which didn't make any sense to me.

Not much progress lately. They had to finish the '70 Dodge and get that out the door, so mine is still in about the same spot for now.

Default Looking awesome

That is looking awesome GTO JOHN! Mine is in the rotisary doing body work now. Looking forward to getting to your point hopefully by spring. I was wondering if I could bother you for a couple of close-up shots of where the tail light panel meets the quarters. Mine are rusted out there and need to do some fabrication around there soon and would like to see how they were attatched there from the factory. Cannot find a replacement tail panel and I want it to look factory when I get it done. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, Dennis.

Dennis, I can get you some pics when the car comes home. I also have a couple tailpanels that might be usable. Need to get them dug out to see.

Default Thanks!

That would be awesome, I have kind of surrendered to the fact I was probably going to have to do a lot of playing around trying to fab something. The center section of mine is fine, all I need is the ends. In case you happen to have one that is damaged, or whatever in the middle, it would still work fine for me.

I cant tell you how much I appreciate this!
Dennis

I had a red on red Matador 69 GTO convertible for 15 years before selling it in 2000, correct Matador red is almost pornographic!

Once other thing, the car came with standard glass and I was thinking about installing factory tinted glass. What do you guys say?

For what it's worth John there are certain things that a 69 GTO must have and if I'm keeping one I'd add them even if it was a Ram Air IV Judge convertible!

1...hideaways
2...soft ray glass all around
3...power antenna (unless it's a judge)
4...wood wheel
5...rallye wheels
6...gauges and either tach

And no Cordova top!

That's just my 2 cents but I'm right about it!
