Yeah I'm thrashing but not on my junk. I've been so busy at work I've only taken 4 days off since Christmas. Now it's 12 hr shifts 7 days a week. I don't know which end is up or what day it is. I was so busy last year, I only got out 3 times. Hopefully this season will be different. For me, time and money never come together. Usually it's lots of time and no money.

Yes. Been thrashing on two Jr Dragsters tonight! David's daughter, Anniston 13, and my daughter, Marisa 12, got matching Half Scale cars this year. Engines are too big. Had to make restricter plates to slow them down to 7.90 as per rules. Oh, and worked on the bent/broken wheelie bar for the ProMod sat. Again!

Yep, got engine in the car and fired up Saturday. Still have a few things to do before I'm ready to make some passes though. Good luck Mike and Hooter on the dyno sessions. Keep us posted.

Working on getting convertor changed, fuel pressure gauge installed along with a trans temp gauge, and setting up suspension with new rear DA afco shocks to make some passes on the 20th!

Car looks Great Mike!

Front subframe is all done and ready to roll back under the car. Back shell has been stripped, epoxied and should finish up the last of the body work tonight then spray another coat of epoxy. Hopefully early next week I can roll the subframe back under the car then start cutting out the back for the mini tub and remove the roll bar for the new cage. I got a late start to everything (lazy) so I'm shooting to be done by early June. Motor is sitting on the stand ready to go in.
I do have the wife's 74 to race between now and then so its not so bad. Should be taking that out not this weekend but the next. Her car will be getting my old cal traces and split monos as soon as I take them off mine.

Yep I am busy but little jack is just dazed confused and SCEERED that he is going to get "Smaced" so he doesn't know what to post only thing he can think of is "are you drinking"

Cars painted, chassis update to 24.5 done, roll cage and inside painted, scale and weight movement getting done, new hood almost fitted, new fuel system in, new tires. mostly plumbing and wiring left. don't worry lil jack it will be mid summer before I am ready for you so you i rebuilt the entire car so it may take some time to dial in,,,or maybe not you never know.

Last year I smoked my trans. at Norwalk. I fixed that but never got anymore 1/4 runs in due to family and the weather. I just had my carbs setup so I can run the sheet metal intake I made last year and started it last weekend. I just have to change the oil and give the car a bath. The intake is the only change other than fixing the slipping trans. but I think the parachute is going on and 8 second slips are in my future. It's been a ruff ruff winter in many ways. Working 55 hour weeks, taking on a big side project, and chasing women but 2013 is going to be my lucky year!

Started building headers and waiting on parts. Have a date at the chassis shop for a cage upgrade next month and will try to get the new bullet dynoed, hoping to have it all together by Memorial Day. Yesterday I was Looking for some T&T days that would work at Etown (now that Island closed )

Still shooting for Norwalk, but realized it is the same weekend as my daughter's 18th Bday and then she leaves for college two weeks later so Norwalk plans are far from final.

Good luck. I hope it exceeds your expectations.

Dyno day reminds me of a first date...filled with anticipation, excitement and some anxiety. While the track is like marriage...you now know exactly what you got.
