I was hoping to Drive a super comp Ram air 5 powered car last season.....that's why I made the financial commitment to run Division 3 last year......it never materialized. I dang near won a super street championship in the process and made some new friends with some dang good people. So it wound up a great year.

Sure it does! I had to do what I had to do to get the kool aid experience washed out of my mouth....It seems a lot cleaner running a bbc.
I do have a Pontiac build in the works...
Still trying to figure out what cylinder head to put on it. ....
I am kind of like you Jeff except for I like to travel to race and it gets very expensive... If I could only get some discounted parts from someone it would help tremendously and I wouldn't have to run a bbc..... I have lofty goals and chase it every year...

Yea that sucked for sure. Traveling isnt worth it to me when I have a local series in my back yard. I am going to try and travel a bit next year. It is a tough decision on what cylinder heads to use thats for sure. I went back and forth for a long time.

I hope to get the Tempest out a little more in 2019, get the new tighter converter sorted and move up a spot or two on the seven-second Pontiac list.

This is what is nice about racing computers.

Using what I believe is the HP that Billy / Tony are making @ 2650# in a door car.

60 Foot ET = 1.0486
330 Foot ET = 2.7361
1/8 Mile ET = 4.1064
1/8 Mile MPH = 180.3235
1000 Foot ET = 5.2862
1/4 Mile ET = 6.2927
1/4 Mile MPH = 223.3954

With the updates I'm doing to the car over the winter, .40's should be in the bag at outlaw weight. .399999 is the goal.
