Thanks John. Nice looking car you have. Glad to hear that there is a 61-63 base here.
We'll see what I decide when it comes time for paint. It was originally the maroon looking red, forgot the name off hand. Now it is just a faded shell of a formally bright red. Take care, Todd

Whats up with this wagon ... why hasen't it sold? Has anyone contacted the seller (or has everyone contacted him)? John

It has quite a few watchers. Maybe they are waiting it out to try and get it cheaper?

Found this site out of Washington today while web browsing. It appears he has a 1961 Wagon for $2250. I don't know how accurate it is as the last update I saw was at the end of October but maybe worth a call or e-mail if someone is interested?

Happy hunting!

This '61 Wagon is still there. This is where I get all my wrecking yard stuff. Unfortunately, there has been a tree limb fall on the roof. (Sounds familiar, huh, Transporter?). It's been sitting for a long time so it can probably be had for less. Dan is pretty good to deal with.

The '61 Tempest wagon was for sale at the Daytona Turkey Rod Run this past weekend. It appears a dealer bought the car. Not sure what it sold for but it is a very nice car.

The guy just spent $1200 on a new fuel tank and pump.

I talked to him to see what's up. He's a car broker. Doesn't know meaningful details about the car.

Didn't know there are Turkey's in Daytona. Hope the future owner doesn't turn out to be one --

Default 63 waGON

Here is one for all you wanting a 63 Tempest wagon. Not cheap, but looks like a solid foundation for a build. 4cyl with manual trans, but comes with a rebuilt V8. http://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/cto/4225659993.html
Just listed 19 hours ago!

Being an original slant 4 car, that is a bit strong on price. By the way, he says it's a 64 326, not a 63 326. Also, the car hasn't moved in years and it didn't run too good when parked.
