It's apparrent that people need to brush up on the definition of"under-rated".
un·der·rate /ˌʌndərˈreɪt/ Show Spelled [uhn-der-reyt] Show IPA –verb (used with object), -rat·ed, -rat·ing. to rate or evaluate too low; underestimate. I say these are under rated because they just aren't mentioned enough any more and they were the best in different ways:
Lowell George Peter Greene (back then) Mick Taylor Albert King Freddie King honorable mentions guitarists of sorts: Moonie (!) yes Ralph David Lindley John Cippolina Robert Fripp and while he is recognized, Frank Zappa was really one of the best guitarists ever, and in that sense he is under rated... and Jorma Koukenan probably spelled that wrong, OK just Jorma! and for bass players who played bass like a guitar: Berry Oakley Jack Cassidy

I always liked Vito Bratta from White Lion, similar in style to Eddie Van Halen, even though i didn't really care for there whiney lead singer,I liked the music behind him, there cover of "Radar Love" kicks Golden Earring's versions A** !!! Vito's solo in that song is awesome!

Tom is a brilliant player with awesome imagination when it comes to production. Boston's sound came and went... no mistaking his sound. First 2 albums were awesome, and i learned alot about guitar harmonies and melody listening to his solos. Brad ( the other guitar player) was a badass too...
