With those rearlights it locks like a Nissan soapcup plastic racer. Nice car otherwise.

Not sure what you're asking. Are you asking why GM is incorporating this into the Z/28 now when Shelby did it 7 years ago?

Eh, the car leaves me kinda numb, yeah it's got a go-fast pedigree, but it just doesn't make me want to go right out and buy one, regardless who makes it.

One other note, ever notice how much the the words "refreshed or restyled" are used? and there really is almost no difference in the way this looks over any of the other new Camaro's.

To me, a refresh is the difference between a 61/62 Tempest and a 63, or a 64 Cat vs a 65, the only thing that looks different on most of these new cars are the plastic bumpers.

Guess I'm in the minority, but I like it. And I like the nod to the '66 Impala/Caprice tail light treatment - a much cleaner look than the squarish Transformer-based C7 rear end...

I agree with the earlier post about the blind spots and the cramped quarters, though. I sat in a new Camaro last year, and at 6'0", my head was practically touching the headliner. Blinds spots galore made it feel like I was sitting in a tank.

Still, I could probably learn to live with the interior. That's a helluva lot of car (and engineering) for the money.

I wish you would stop posting. You're making a fool out of yourself.

Is it really unknown that a thread like this will generate negative feedback? Is that why you started it? Just so you could argue a few facts about Chevy's on PONTIAC board?? Really? Do you not have better thing to do with your life?

Still built on the C. Car platform yuk!! I don't like those recreations. When my 69 TA Tribute car is done it will be #690. Those recreations remind me of a Muscle Machines diecast toy car.

This front end begins with a U and ends in a GLY.

Reminds me of a 70's chevy chevette.

The worst thing about the new Z-28 is that they STILL have that gross blue dash lighting. For god's sake, change that garbage GM~!

GM has a one track mind these days.... fugly cars. Especially the Camaro. Inside is the worst I've seen since the 80s Camaros. I've rode in one of these new ones, and that was the first and last time... never again.

Nightmare Future Vision:
Hot Rodding will diminish to the lowest allowable level of government permissable modifications.

Joe: "Harry, do you like my new Camaro?"
Harry, "Yeah, but if was mine, I would change those really cool twin black plastic engine covers for extra cool red ones!"
Joe: "Yeah, Harry, I wonder what is under them?"
Harry: "Beats Me! But I'm not afraid to find out when I mount the red ones!"
Joe: "Maybe you should post a thread on an internet forum asking what the best way to change them is?"
Harry: "Think I should post a Chevy thread on PerformaceYears?"
Joe: "Sure!"
