I got a converter for you to. 9.5 , it went 6100 against my 438 cid motor. Its not right but will get you out. The trans is 2.48 first. Its the trans I had at norwalk last year. Its got a Ultra bell and a CSR shield on it to. Not a trick piece but.......

A friend loaned me a trans last year, but at the time he was just barely an acquaintance. I was blown away by that and im just trying to be that same kind of person.

Bill, I know of a chassis to put that motor in. Yes it has a Tranny and a very very nice converter.I can have the headers built and we could work out a trade for them.........They would most likely wind up as a set of nice Dyno headers for JMRE.

P.S.Why in THEEEE heck are you talking on the Internet????? GET TO WORK LOL

X2 TIC TOC

Plus we are locked in, a no show is the same as a loss. And remember if you lose you have to wear a EHTTFMFr shirt all weekend.

lol i dont see him wearing the shirt. also im guessing he's gonna make sure the car is ready before he shows up to race, no sense in rushing it and losing because the car isnt properly setup lol

Why not, that's what I did last year. First pass was at Norwalk last year, made 1 660 hit on Thursday and 1st hit Friday was my race with Jeff. I knew my chit would be all F-ed up but so what.

lol i kid i kid . i have a set of e heads too but i welcome any progress in the pontiac world.
not everyone builds a max effort n/a engine. my dyno results wont matter to anyone because it a boosted deal lol

I wish bill the best outcome. But its not as easy as just "getting it ready" and go fast, theres a learning curve and lots of testing to get a car right. Not sure you guys understand what it takes.

Oh yeah i forgot...so easy a moron could do it....with money. NOT

Figuratively if bill agreed to loser wears the other guys shirt, then punks on it....WE will ride him like a pony at the 4h fair. Just sayin

yea i realize that it takes time . thats my point. i have a car i race too im not some internet racer. nhra # 567L believe me i know it isnt a 5 minute job setting up a car. it took a lot of tuning and chassis setup to get my 4100 pound car down the 1/4 in 9.41 seconds with a 1.35 60ft. not the fastest by any means but its mine, new combo should be deep into the eights i hope. car will need a diet also but hey im not a millionaire so i run what i got, if he did agree to wearing that shirt then yes he should wear it IF he loses , he must be pretty confident for some reason, lol

Default Big Carb Question in Post #4

Is the same carb that Dale Cubic sells? From what I can tell, it looks the same.

So if it doesn't make 1K HP and be the first CV1 motor to make 1K HP it won't be sweet?

not n/a mines a street car made 600hp on the motor very unimpressive. with 16 psi ran 9.41 ( estimated 12-1300 hp) with small 330 cfm e heads on a 535 (not maximized at all ), new combo will be very different still streetable but much more power. like i said though no one will care about my hp numbers and such unless its 2500+ ; ) as its boosted. most people seem to be n/a or nothing lol, obviously an n/a engine shows the true power of all the components of an engine. but i want more than you can make n/a . with a pontiac anyway.
