Default Oil Pumps

So I've been going crazier then normal trying to get my oil pressure where i want it (I've had my pan off 3 times. I changed my oil pump to the Butler Pro 60 psi pump and been fighting it for 3 days now. Its a GOOD pump thats not the problem it just differs from all the other pumps I've used specially the pump I just took out. Just trying to get good pressure at idle and 70 psi in the end. Its just crazy how different oil pumps can be that have the SAME cast housings and springs. Don't know how the guys without tube chassis /and or not a two piece old pan do it! Thank Gosh I have a hoist!
