Very curious as to why they did not want you to sign the title over? You were the legal owner selling the vehicle. The POA is ok but if the owner is present and can sign it shouldnt have been that big of a deal.

I recently bought a wrecked 2013 Camaro SS through Ridesafely. Ridesafely is a broker. They purchased from Copart on my behalf. Caramel should take some pointers from them. They were very thorough in leading me through the entire process. They had a checklist to make it very clear. Each point turns green when it's completed in sequence. |

JSchmitz, you likely know the "value" of what you have but just in case, here is a another data point for you.
My youngest son was recently involved in a total loss collision with an UI driver that pulled in front of him at a green light. He lost his "restored" 1984 Bronco. I settled with the insurance company (he was on my insurance) for a tad over $24k. UMI limit was $25k. It took some due diligence. I had to supply many sold examples over the last 5 years AND from many databases/websites/etc...., many receipts, pictures, ... The value of the full size Broncos, Blazers and less so, the Ramchargers is high. Yours looks solid.

I am starting the process - sent in ad copy, they AI'ed it all to hell.
Not accepting it, there will be a fight. Last edited by Scarebird; 06-18-2024 at 06:43 PM. |

I reluctantly paid for their photographer. That's scheduled for this Saturday morning. It took a little while to get acceptance. But ball is rolling fast now. |

BAT actually has a good archive anyone can search for pending listings and prior sales. Five years back if I recall correctly.

It's on now! I'm relatively pleased with the listing and pics. Didn't feel like attempting to improve it. Just rolling with it. Wish me luck!

I am curious too.
The price seemed about right due to some rust issues showing up. Wondering how the money part goes , and the title work , if buyer sends a transport. |

Very informative thread. I'm listing my restored 1972 Alfa Romeo GTV on BAT; they accepted it, their photographer is taking pictures tomorrow.
This is my first time selling on BAT, so if anyone has any tips, please let me know. thanks Scott

Having a driving video where the car is being driven enthusiastically will get folks excited about your car. Just driving thru town in traffic recording it on a cell phone won't that that crowd enthused. The world is jaded from all the car ads on TV showing professional drivers doing what your never supposed to do with their cars. Hope your ready. Good luck!
