This was in the box of parts that came with my 75 recently. The guy got the car from told me he liked the round ball better. It will be going back on today. Let me know what you guys think of it if it’s the original.

Can you take and post a better picture of the top straight on? Seems to have a ridge around the base but hard to tell if all the way around like a 1971-1973 early one.

Wow. So close to looking like a 71-73 in my opinion but as others noted just maybe some knob shrinkage on these so emblem is showing a slight recessed ridge below it. Kinda thinking it is the 74-76 one though...

Yeah top emblem is twisted...could be because inside assembly it is glued on twisted.

Yes you can see the plastic base protruding from the bottom and the whole center core has likely twisted and thus the emblem is now crooked on top. Did NOT come stock looking that way.
