The side thrust from roller cam lobe kills the bore/lifter.

That's really disapointing with the lifter failures from Johnson.

Flat tappets don't need the braces like a roller lifter does.

Ok thanks .Friend building new street 455 with Kauffman d ports. Using solids and I think he said roller cam blank. He is not on here.
