Yes, everything went back but had to really bend the tranny lines. The headers are reall close, almost touching the A-arms but it does fit and the ground clearance is as good as I've seen on a header. I went with 3-inch Pypes crossover kit and keeping the 2.5" mufflers and tailpipes. Should be worth 20 hp or so over the Ram Air manifolds and 2.5" crossover.

My Doug's round port headers needed to be dented in the area the one passenger side tube went past the lower control arm frame mount. Those headers rusted in like 2-3 years.
On D-port heads, I use the Craftsman 'angled' wrenches, and 3/8 headed bolts. They work great. (pic) .

I use a standard Craftsman combo wrench. Reaches every bolt.

Manual trans round port fitment
It seems to me that all of the installs that went fairly well were with an automatic trans. Does anyone have a success story with round ports ,4 speed in a 1970 GTO

Wondering the same thing on TKX install on a 71 GTO? Did anyone have to relocate the proportioning valve on the frame?
