Kind of new here, so I'll add a few of my car to this thread. I've had mine since 1984.
Just put 15x8 Wheel Vintique Rally II on it a few weeks ago, but haven't been out to take more pictures yet. Been busy changing the dash and doing a few other things to it. (heater core )

It is a 1972 455HO M22 car. Lucerne blue with standard black interior, no console.
Manual steering and manual brakes
For 28 years I have lived with the 6.5ish turn manual steering, until last month when I finally put a 1979 WS6 box on it. It may be the best thing I have ever done to this car.
Manual brakes are next to depart. Got the last of the parts today.

Around 1992 I removed the 455HO and put it in storage. I built a 1973 455 +.030 with the typical go-fast parts. Forged pistons, solid roller cam, Torker II, AED 850 Holley, 1.6 roller rockers, Unilite dist, gear drive, and the biggest mistake...ported 670 heads.
The heads put the 455 at 11.8:1, so it just never ran right unless I used race fuel.

I used up a bunch of clutches and finally went to a dual disc and the clutch problem was solved. So it really wasn't much fun to drive with the manual steering/brakes and the read-too-many-hot-rod-magazines engine I had put together.

The car basically sat in the garage and was only started if I needed to move it around to make room for something for about 15 years.

Fast forward to 10/2011, removed the 670 heads and gear drive (hated that noisy thing) I bought some 96 heads from someone here on PY and started driving it again. Every car I have bought after this one had power steering because of this car. Just decided it was time for a change and removed the snowflakes and put the Rally IIs on it with the same tires. Replaced the dash with one of the OER pieces yesterday, and may change to PB this weekend if I am feeling ambitious.

It still has its original springs that haven't been messed with, so I guess it is just lucky it still sits ok. It has a thin silver double pin stripe on the hood and down each side. I bought this in the early 80s and put it on a long time ago. Had it painted and put them on it again. It was cool at the time...or maybe not. I don't know, maybe I am used to it now. It also has Ram Air IV decals on the scoops, but I made the photos small so I wouldn't catch any grief over that. I liked the letters better, so when it was last painted (1988) that is what I put on it.

Oh, it also has the Flowmaster exhaust, and I hate it just as much as everyone else seems to. The only good thing about mine is that I bought it so long ago that it was only $300. I had my original tips incorporated into the install, so I'm not looking forward to changing and damaging the tips trying to un-weld them.

Don't need to write a whole book, so I'll leave it at that.

Bryan, that's a very neat car you have. I can count on one hand the number of 455 HO / 4-speed cars with no PS / no PB I've ever seen... with several fingers to spare.

I always thought that was cool, because you couldn't get a 455 HO that way in a T/A. But I understand why it would get old if you were actually driving it around

Really nice car Frogday. Glad you kept it all these years. Welcome to the board. I like everything about it especially that it's a 4-speed car. Pretty smart to stow the HO away. It appears that you still occasionally test and verify the cars ability to slice through the atmosphere for which it was designed at high velocity with the current engine. Many of us here approve and encourage that type of behavior, provided you have a clear field of vision and local law enforcement not being in the area at the time.

They were Bad Ass 40 years ago just like the F4 Phantom, and they still are today.
