1/2 ton 2wd - 5 lugs on 5" bolt circle, 1/2" studs
1/2 ton 4wd - 6 lugs on 5" bolt circle, 7/16" studs
3/4 ton and 1 ton - 8 lugs

The center section of the rear is also sitting on a cinderblock, so no doubt it was riding even lower. There are all these signs there that say, 'no parking' too. It was warming up for an attempted run over Afton Mt. to the scrap yard I am sure. 2000' +- descent on the other side.

Wife said she saw the guy trying to change the tire there on Friday. With all the violations and DEQ issues, I believe I would have removed the tags and just leave her lay where Jesus flang her - as my mom says.

How about those guys hauling piled high pallets in dinky pickups, so top heavy that the top of the stack sways back and forth a foot and a half as the load shifts driving down the road?! The front tires are barely making enough contact to steer the monstrosity.

Saw this recently in the parking garage of one of the high-rise residential towers in town. These cars were parked in the resident's parking are (rather than in the visitor's) area. I had always assumed a muscle car enthusiast would likely never live in one of those towers because of the difficulty of keeping (and working on) an old car without a garage. Musta been wrong…

I use to own a condo, and they had garages, but the waiting list was really long, took almost 4 years for one to become available, as soon as it did I jumped on it. But then again I had replaced a transmission in my assigned parking lot....

This 1948 Chrysler Windsor was painted in Pearl White and dig the "Security Door Locking System" and "DUB" wheels.
It was kind of cool in an odd sort of way.

There was a new yellow viper up the street from my house this weekend, I heard a really weird exhaust note, looked down the street and saw it doing a U-turn

I happend to tour the LBJ Ranch this past fall. Lady Bird kept that place in a time warp since right after LBJ died, then she died, and a year or so ago, it was opened to the public. It is a real blast from the past to visit, really like jumping back to the 70's. There are tons of things still there from his presidency, such as Airforce II, and some of the air strip equipment, cool vintage aviation stuff. Lots of LBJ's cars are there to see as well. A pair of suicide-door rag-top Lincolns, a Johnson family '34 Ford, two 70's Town Cars, one of those amphib cars, and…his daughter's '65 Vette, an 18th birthday present from LBJ. Sadly, no Pontiacs though… --psw
