Testarossa's have always been one I like. Most I've ever seen are like most boats, latest Hot Sport Bikes (motorcycle), etc. that are hardly driven, often with less than 2,000 miles on them. Given this one is in the desert environ not surprising to see the dull paint, etc. looks like its been driven hard and put up wet, which for me personally isn't a bad thing. Better to have it and use it, instead of saving it for someone else (a strange) in the future IMO. Of course if it were mine, even with high mileage, I'd attempt to keep the exterior/interior in better shape. But that's just me. ![]() Seeing Ferraris, Massaratti, et al isnt a big deal here due to the dealerships literally up the highway. See them In traffic every day. In junk yards not so much! ![]() Locally there was a guy who had a F40 as a daily driver! I saw him all over our large city and county driving that bad boy...it was a real deal f40 - not a bogus kit car. Worst weather I saw him driving in was during a gulf coast tropical depression in which the the rain was coming down an inch (or more) per hour and the street water was deep for the F150 I was driving. Imagine my amazement in seeing him coming in the opposite direction driving through deep water with a car like this one below. Didn't have a camera ready then; but sure wish I had a photo of it driving in the rain with its single windshield wiper working like he was in a race. Thxs for reminding me of that Great memory!

Im curious which one would be a better investment, right now those 80s Ferraris are "cheap" and are starting to swing upward in price

My brother spotted this one in a parking lot down south of us here just outside of Birmingham. Being a Pontiac he knew I'd be interested in seeing it.
Turns out the buyer had just taken delivery from a guy in California. From Les (Wheelspin).............what are the odds....

Saw this on the way to church at a weigh turn-out. A guy with a barn find white '62 Chrysler on a trailer pulled in too, but I blew that off. It had the old stylized lettering on the deck lid 'Casper II".
There is just so much going on here you have got to love it. The rope, the puddle of gear oil, Minute Maid (mixer?) on the hood; note under the wiper... The red flag for safety makes it. That's and S-10 blazer for cargo.

luckily he remembered his cinderblock emergency brake. 6 lug wheels makes it a 1/2 ton? I may be mistaken but your part of the commonwealth appears to be even more redneck than mine...

The center section of the rear is also sitting on a cinderblock, so no doubt it was riding even lower. There are all these signs there that say, 'no parking' too. It was warming up for an attempted run over Afton Mt. to the scrap yard I am sure. 2000' +- descent on the other side.
Wife said she saw the guy trying to change the tire there on Friday. With all the violations and DEQ issues, I believe I would have removed the tags and just leave her lay where Jesus flang her - as my mom says.

How about those guys hauling piled high pallets in dinky pickups, so top heavy that the top of the stack sways back and forth a foot and a half as the load shifts driving down the road?! The front tires are barely making enough contact to steer the monstrosity.

Hello All,
Saw this recently in the parking garage of one of the high-rise residential towers in town. These cars were parked in the resident's parking are (rather than in the visitor's) area. I had always assumed a muscle car enthusiast would likely never live in one of those towers because of the difficulty of keeping (and working on) an old car without a garage. Musta been wrong…

I use to own a condo, and they had garages, but the waiting list was really long, took almost 4 years for one to become available, as soon as it did I jumped on it. But then again I had replaced a transmission in my assigned parking lot....
