Yeah, I'm the poor sap with the one that's been there for three years. Ha.
Feel bad, as I helped Gary make the decision to send his there too. Did not get any racing history of the car. Decided to take it back about 95% factory appearing, as thought it would be more marketable that way. We'll see. Sadly, my car may wind up with Tom Fischer at Muscle Car Alley too. His shop really moves on their cars, and he's doing a great job on a white 79 for me. Hooray for Lloyd! Mark

There is another way and that is the order sheet from the dealer in which the customer filled out upon ordering.
Which I have for my car with the honeycombs! nothing on the automatic with the Rally II's, however you could place what ever you want on the car and call it a deal option and no one can argue. Will except one but I wouldn't mention names.

Thanks for the help, guys.
Since my SD has Honeys on it, I'll assume they were the OEM wheels. Won't stop me from running a set of "de-chromed" Rally II's (ala Mr. Woodard) from time to time, though!

How about a pic (or a link) of Peter Shirley's T/A? I don't believe I've ever seen it.

Lloyd:
For what it's worth, I don't think a 74 looks right with bias plys. They never came that way it makes them look too much like a 70. On top of that they ride like crap. You just can't beat the look of a BFG Radial TA.

The car is still sitting in Gary's garage as I type this, so we're stil waiting for the pickup. I'm hoping it's here by next Tuesday, or no later than Wednesday. I just pray that the weather is nice when they drop it off - I wanna drive it!

Lloyd,
I wish there was a way to run them off and on with out the ring scratching the wheel. Looks like you get one chance..unless you use some type of rubber between the wheel and ring barbs. Then there is the chance of them falling off. The rings really bite hard into the wheel.

Yep, you're right Bob - it looks like a '70! Thanks for digging that pic up.
Methinks I'll try my KR's and G60 Polyglas (I've got a spare set of G's) on mine and see how it drives. If OK . . .

i'd have to check the dates on them, they failed on me two years ago, at the time i'd say they were between 5-10 years old. i bought them in nearly new condition (still had a bit of the nubs showing) on a set of rally IIs. i should take some pics, they have huge flaps of steel belting sheared off. ironically enough, due to lack of funds i reverted back to the goodyear eagle GTs mounted on turbo rims that were on the car when i bought it. i have receipts for those dated 1985 and don't worry about them a bit. they're hard as rocks of course.
