Tunnel is finished! A section in the front is removable (as suggested by Tom S.) so I can get to the bell housing bolts. Dash bar went in nicely. I predict there was a serious amount of cursing going on to get the back seat in around the cage Once the gas pedal gets mounted she is coming home fellas

I would expect more cursing when the guy has to remove the seat to paint the cage! Nice work!! Thanks for posting the pictures!

i had did alot of cursing getting my seat in, just make sure you got something thin and strong so you can put it on one side of the rear door panels so the base can slide down that side without hurting anything. Dan

I pulled the Tempest out of the garage while rearranging "stuff" for winter, so took a few pictures of its current condition. The plan for this winter is to clean and paint the under carriage, install the wiring, engine and tranny, and do some interior work. Hopefully, it will make its debut next May at Torquefest in Maquoketa, Iowa. (vintagetorquefest.com)

Restoring a Peterbilt 359 semi tractor with a 63" sleeper. Took off fifth wheel and making a flatbed for golf cart with is painted same color as the 63. Doing a seminole paint scheme and the lettering on the side will read LITTLE INDIAN EXPRESS. Want to find someone to do an arrowhead on the back of sleeper. Across the back on top will say Yogi's Ride (My Newfoundland dog that goes to all the races). The beast should have enough power to pull my 22ft. trailer. Should be at Norwalk 2012

Thanks a lot fellas. Brad I have had it out one time. Really just to see how the car drove. I had the tires on it that I have had all along the build. The last pass it wen't 10.20 @140 with a 1.81 60. No tuning or anything. I think she'll go some mid nines@142-144. Still haven't weighed it yet either.
James, I wanted the car to look relatively stock. The factory tank has a lot of work in it. I know, I know, I probably should have put a cell in it. I will definately see you next spring Gary. Mike

It's definitely making some power to run 140 I'm sure there's a ton left in it too.

I'm really curious to find out what your car weighs. It's pretty similar build to mine.
