1970 hood
Anyone got grills vents for this hood that can be graphed in? Or is that not possible. Corners are in Need of repair too. It doesn't have bracing bit needs tlc.i noticedits lighter that the steel reinforced ones. Is the actual frame structure the same or different? Never show a stranger your car because they might want to steel it or parts off it.Trust me I'm a victim of that.

based on the damage and holes drilled into the underside of the forward edge, I'd suggest you find another hood.
Those vent areas are VERY hard to repair, where the repair doesn't crack, or pop off; I believe the best fix is to simply cut out the entire area, and replace with the same section of an undamaged hood. These hoods are out there.

ok, maybe I was wrong.
my knee jerk reaction was that this hood was going to require a lot of work - I have not known any vent damage to be able to be properly repaired to the point where it wouldn't crack down the road, and re-expose the original damage/repair; Add to that, the picture made the holes look sloppy - so I probably mis-spoke.

My '70 Formula's original hood has one hole per side. On your car, the one that is cleanly cut is original. The two that look hacked in.... are not.

1970 holes
This is a pic of a low mile survivor. 3 per side. I believe holes are stock. I'll try to save the hood if it looks ugly I ll use a different one.

Same here, my original Formula RA Hood only has one hole per side and the inner most one.

Here's another '70 LB RAIII Formula from the 2021 TA Nats with just a single hole per side.
