Default Rockers??

OK guys need some input. What rocker arm setup is everyone running? My combo is an IAII block 482ci, standard e-heads, vortech YSi, CSU blow thru, cam is .680 lift. According to Bullet I should shift in the 6800rpm range. Looking at around 20psi of boost. I'm trying to figure out what to run for rocker arms. I know shaft is far superior but with my combo can I get away with stud mount and stud girdles? I shafts are a must then so be it but if not I could save a ton of cash. Looking for the best brand either way.

Thanks,
Mike

Not really the same world, but my 0.480" lift flat tappet hyd. cam has Comp Cams roller tip rockers with cool nuts pushing on the heavy wall Butler pushrods. I bump the chip at 5600 rpm at times but try to shift at 5200 or so. Have seen 20 psi many times, and have been near 25 at the dragstrip and near 30 psi by accident a few times. Bent a few stock type pushrod when I got to 20 psi, and have lost some clips in the hyd. lifters. Till I go with a solid cam we put solid cam clips in a few of the hyd. lifters, have to see if they come out.

I heard Harland sharp is good . Iv been using Scorpions. The only thing negative about them is they seem to always need a longer push rod to get proper geometry . Other then that , they have served me well. Costumer service is really good as well.... My seat pressure is 300lbs and 680lbs open with 38 pounds of boost. Its also street driven....

Hope this helps in your decision.....

Definitely use stud girdles. Last year I bent all of my studs because I was not using one...

I use Scorpion rockers in my turbo combo, so far 18psi of boost at 7000 rpm, cam is a solid flat tappet around .600" lift and I use stud girdles.

Aside from shaft mount, there is only one. Crower.

I'll second the Crowers. I have Norris, HS, some Comp SS and Crowers do have the largest trunnion bearing.
