https://www.championradiators.com/American-Eagle-Pontiac-GTO-radiators-shrouds-1965-1966 They will also make a custom aluminum shroud for you. I'd suggest dual 12" electric fans and I would go with Spal for those. They sell Spal fans but you might be able to find them cheaper someplace else. Do you have plans on how you want to control your fans yet? I'd suggest setting the fans up with a 3-relay circuit for 2 speed operation. Low speed runs the fans in series and full speed runs them in parallel. Dakota makes a good stand alone controller for this setup. Part# PAC-2750.

+1 to this. Don't bother with electric fans. Not necessary.

I didn't realize the Cold Case had two 1.25" cores. That does make it more desirable than the American Eagle I recommended.
Do you guys that prefer to stay with a clutch fan use severe duty clutches like the Hayden 2797?

Pretty compelling to not go with a Cold Case electric fan shroud. https://forums.maxperformanceinc.com...d.php?t=830680 1/4" is not enough distance between the shroud and core for sure. They should redesign this and space it out. However, the performance you got using a clutch fan and stock shroud in the hot AZ summers makes a strong case for going that route. You have changed the direction I was planning on for my '69 GTO radiator setup.

GTO Jones & Formula, what clutch are you using? Just noticed a wobble in mine and ordered a standard centrifugal one from NAPA today, coincidently.

Hayden explains about their fan clutches here:
https://www.haydenauto.com/en/techni...q-fan-clutches The part number for their standard duty is 2705, heavy duty is 2747 and severe duty is 2797. Pretty sure Hayden makes fan clutches for Napa.

I would use the 1.25 inch tube unit if you can. I have 3 different brands on 3 different types of cars and they all work well. My radiator that came with the aluminum shroud and 2 fans worked cooler when I removed the shroud. I’ve found that if you can fit one large fan, either clutch or electric, it will cool better than 2 smaller ones. Good luck

Don't forget that Cold Case has two product lines for the 64-67 GTO. There's the dual 1" line with more original looking tanks for owners who want that OEM look and there's the dual 1 1/4" HO/SD rads for those with maximum performance applications and less concern about originality. For example, if you have a tripower 4 speed car, you can get the OEM style rad that has the filler, inlet and outlet all in the correct spot for all years 64-67. The HO/SD rads are pretty simple. You can pick from 64-67 non AC and 64-67 AC. No choice for MT nor 64-65 specific options are available.
