Default '68 Rally Stripe

Does anyone know where the information on the stroke and placement of the '68 Rally stripe is to be found? I'm sure I've seen it somewhere but I can't seem to find it or recall where it was displayed.
Rarely seen but here's a pic of what I'm talking about-

One of these days I'll get around to putting one on my car. I think there might be a more detailed diagram in the assembly manual, but this one is pretty good.

That's exactly the one I was looking for. Where was it? '69 assembly manual may be right. Quite a few '68 details in there.

I found it in an old thread. I'll thumb through the assembly manual and see if I can find any more.

Don't worry, I have a manual and an index for it. What you've given me already will do the trick. Thanks Ken.

Good because that's the only diagram I could find in the manual

That '69 has the Rally Stripe, but I thought it was '68 only?

I honestly don't know. I've never seen one on a '69....but as far as that goes, I've only seen it in person on one '68...The Mayfair Maize one I had back in the early 80s had one. I'm considering adding one to my car when I paint it.

I have seen in literature that 1969 GTO had Rally Stripes code 494 as an option for $13.65. Does anyone know if that was the same as for '68 or does that meant the Judge stripe or pinstripe?

Good question. I have never seen the '68 style stripe on a '69...but I've only seen it a couple of times on '68s either...so, I just don't know myself. Maybe the Judge guys would know.

I'm fairly certain it was the same as '68. The '69 Judge stripe was option on non-Judges in '70. IIRC, the Judge didn't come out until January or Feb of '69 so the stripe decal wouldn't have been available at the beginning of the model year.
