Default Placement of splitter tips

Havent had luck finding what I need. I think the hangers on the car were moved because there are two diagonal slots in the frame, see pics.

Seems like the hangers should be in the forward slot not the far rear ones?

Hm. Pretty sure my frame has one further back, would have to go look.

That one you are mocking up is definitely too far reward.

Mine is further forward, but does appear to have the one in the spot you are trying.

I think the one you're trying is for standard turn-down tailpipes.

The tip is not held on to the pipe by the clamp that supports the pipe.

My splitters are @ 7/8" protruding beyond the top edge of the valance, and going to pull it out more, maybe like 1.25".

It's discoloring the bumper, and may even have impacted the bumper chrome. It's showing a slight tint of 'gold'.

Those caustic gases can really affect chrome over time.
