New Ventura owner
I recently traded for a 1971 Ventura in Tropical Lime. The car had been completely taken down and rebuilt with an LT1, M40 , and a 3.55 geared posi from a shortened A-body rearend by its previous owner. Runs very strong. I am finishing little things in the car to make it ready for spring ( March in Texas ). Looking forward to participating in the forums.

Very sweet! That's WAY more work than I could ever have the patience (or talent) for!!
Can't go wrong with the "sleeper" look, either. |

Welcome! That's a nice car. I recognize it from the previous owner's posts over on ls1gto.com.

Nice photos on the work he did to it. I can only imagine the fun he had getting the GTO frame and front suspension all put togerther. Not a job I'd want to try all by myself.

Looks like a great car. I've only seen a couple of them here (New England). It is nice to see someone who has a car that is "different".

I believe it is a '93. He chose that year because it was speed density and had 4 bolt mains.

Great looking car! Nicely done! You will get some grief for the ole LT1, but what alot dont realize is that it's nearly the red-headed step child that the Pontiac V8 is outside of the Pontiac community. It's not a gen1 sbc, and it's not a damn lsx either! So it's not the same but it kinda feels right at home, LOL! And that's from a fellow LT1 powered Pontiac owner.
