69 Firebird convertible with wire hubcaps at $2500 with reserve not met in Minnesota. I have a set of wire for my 69 Firebird. They fit into a 14 X 7 inch Rally II, which I have on the car, so I can mix it up when I want to change the look. I also have a set of 14" honeycombs for it. Best looking wheel Pontiac ever made IMO, and the 14" ones were 71 and 72, so while not factory correct, a very cool look.

68 Lemans at $28.5K NR in Ohio. Nice car, but that too high air cleaner bolt is looking to put a dent in that hood.

I know we've seen this one before, but I never tire of it. The interior pic with the steering wheel and stacked gauges is pretty much it when it comes to the rare options. 1969 Trans AM with 52K miles at $175K in Texas.

72 GTO in SD at NR $4500. No engine or transmission, so it being a "real 455HO WW5" car means a lot less, though it does say the hood has the Ram Air pan, but no pic. This car is a money pit from the word go, but if this is "the" one you've been looking for, prolly worth it. Has a 10 bolt.... I would have guessed a 12 bolt. The Monte Carlos had 12 bolts.

71 GTO 4-speed in AZ at a very reasonable $24K NR. Nice car with 50K miles and NM. Note how they didn't screw it up by putting a wing on it. It looks so much better in stock form.

That 69 is sweet with Tach & Stack
Maybe the snow states didn't always want Posi rear.
Built in late October 69 = Cool

That 72 WW5 is a sore sight .
Appears the driver quarter is going to be worse than pass side quarter.
Even the 12 bolt is gone

79 Trans AM in Pennsylvania at NR $10K. Ad says the previous owner had $50K invested in it. Looks like an Olds engine, but the ad says nothing about what it is. Cars like these were the absolute bomb in the late 70's and early 80's. Big fat tires with Centerlines tucked under tubs with a Dana rear end and 4:11 gears. Add a roll bar and a lot of suspension parts plus those super heavy cushy seats and go cruzin'. Lots of money in this car, but mostly in parts. It does look good.

I think you are right absolutely right Thews .
It was the R2 wheels and 4spd/Auto Trans choice that didn't come standard in 69
Like they did for 2nd gen

Wow! 70 GTO 455 4-speed at $2500 NR Idaho. Poverty caps on this car don't work at all.

Nor do the backward Judge stripes on the rear quarters!
