There is a decent 68 probably two hours northeast of you in plumsteadville. Original 350 car, not autumn bronze, but does have deluxe interior. You want a phone #?

I was watching the Steve Martin movie "The Jerk" the other day and saw a "brown" 68 in the garage scene with Jackie Mason.

If you have seen the scene, I was wondering if thats the Autumn Bronze color?

Whatever it was, it was a very nice looking color, imo

Default Almost ready to post

Here is my 1968 Project Firebird that I will be posting in a few days. RIght now here is a partial list of all the parts. I have to add more parts and tighten up the codes but here they are for now.

NR - New Restoration
NP - New Part
NPA - New Part Aftermarket
NOS - New Old Stock

If you are interested I can let you know up front and get pics. The car has just been stripped of ALL paint and the body work has been done and primered ready for paint this spring. The car had less than 40K original miles and when you look in the doors they look like a car with 20K original miles completely solid and original. The trunk had to be replaced becuase of a race project fuel cell gone bad and the from floors were rusted from the inside out so I had them replaced. Everything is super solid. Take a look at the parts that are sitting and waiting and I still have more to add. It would have been easier for me to list the parts that werent replaced but anyways here goes.

Forgot to mention the complete subframe was removed and media blasted and painted with POR-15. Of course new bushings for subframe, radiator support and upper fendder support. All suspension parts were treated to the same media blasting and POR-15. THere isnt a part up front that wasnt replaced except the front link (which was solid). Includes a oversize sway bar also. It has a 1969 Chevelle front disk setup with, of course, all new parts. The restored and plated brake booster and new brake unit along with new disc/disc proportiong valve mounted right next to the new wiper motor/washer unit.

Nice car. Horrendous wheels, though.

I'd rather restore one my way.

Thanks for keeping an eye out.
