Looks like we're getting into the steel wheels here.

My 2 sets of aftermarket steel wheels made to my specs, first 17X8s with 235/45 tires:

15x5 & 15X8 with 205/75 & 275/60 tires:

Thanks for the compliments guys!!!

I knew the Steelies and RWL tires would look good, but it came out better then I expected......... good enough for me to put off going to 17's in the near future.

Nice 'stealth bomber' look B-man....and I have always loved the dog-dish caps too, AFX421 & GTONut.

Here are a couple of my favorite shots of the Formula with the steel wheels...Robert

Harley,
Can you tell me if you made any mods to make these fit, also the backspace and make and model of the wheels.
Thanks,
Scott

I guess you could consider these as a deep dish rim, WELD Pro Star with a tiny bit of offset.

DAVEY......This is the next step for your GTO, lets get some rubber under that rear and see if you can pull a front wheel!

Heres mine. Nothing fancy just factory WS6 snowflake wheels that have been painted and polished by Brett over at 78ta.com. I think the polish really makes them stand out from other factory ones.

BMan that is awesome, the black wheels with the giant splitters looks real tuff! i love that primered semi nascar look, i have been pondering making a nascar lookalike out of my 69 GP 428 car!

hard to see from this angle, but rallyII's all around.front are 15x6 off of a later 70's firebird and the rear.lets see who crys...........JW's that were widened to 15x10.guy bought a new 1970 Trans am and had a circle track racer widen them to 15x10 for the rear and 15x8.5 for the front, sadly the front were stolen years ago.anyway these tuck N50x15's up under the fenders.i like the old school wide and skinny look.

Rally II's - 15x7's (235/60/15) up front and 15x8's (245/60/15) in the rear. I'm hoping to go 255's all the way around this year or next.

Wheel choice Have a set of red lines on rally 1s in storage for some of the car shows, and Cragers for the Hot Rod Look that i enjoy most, 60s on 10x15 on the rear 70s on 7 1/2x14 front, want to change to the rear to the reversed offset for a deeper dish look
