67 GTO convertible auto in NY at $20K BIN. Looks like most everything is there, but a project for sure. Originally Signet gold/black.

That's a really nice little LeMans. 400 with 16 heads and a 4 spd. Probably came from a performance car.

That is an unusually nice LeMans.

Cool to see one so well finished as a LeMans yet with so many upgrades.

I'm curious why they chose not to keep the Sport "gills" in the front fenders, though. Those holes are not easy to weld shut without warping the fender. Ask me how I know...

I wonder if it was originally a 400 4-spd?

67 Firebird "just rescued from the forest" at NR $4500. I wouldn't want this car if you gave it to me.

If you pull someone's body out of the ocean when they've already been drowned I don't think 'rescued' is the proper terminology.

Engine compartment is in nice shape.
most everything else is hard to look at

Wow, not that I love it but that's a staggering amount of work and impressive airbrush art.

I lifeguarded for years and had many rescues, sadly we had some unsuccessful rescues, like this Firebird!

71 NM GT37 4 speed in Kentucky at $45K BIN. Interesting colors and I think it looks awesome. I don't like the hood pins, but I like the rest of it.
No engine pics?

Frame off 69 Firebird in Illinois at $80K BIN. I can't imagine how hard it is to keep this car clean, cause it looks like new. Really sharp.

That GT-37 is sweet. Weren't hood pins part of the package?

that Firebird is stunning but rusty bolts?
I also dont recall the disc brake pedal being used on Firebirds.
At least theres no 400-4V sticker on air cleaner.

There are a number of things on that Volo car which are deviations from "correct". This takes a lot away from the $80K ask.

The disc brake pedal pad is a Chevy item, as is the 12-bolt rear, obviously. The burled walnut trim on the dash is from Custom trim. The bucket seat hinge bars have black covers, should be white. Front and rear bumpers are poorly aligned.

I'm not impressed with the paint, look at the close-up photo of the single hood scoop. Looks like it needed more prep work.

Some outdoor photos on a gray day would be better than all the glare from the lights.

Also incorrect master cylinder, incorrect exhaust and odd to see the undercarriage undercoated on an otherwise highly detailed car.

Another odd thing is the lack of a PHS, especially since I’ve never seen a 4speed with AC on a 69 Firebird and there is some conjecture around that they never built one, supposedly due to some overheating concerns.

North, thats the first Ive heard of no 4 speed 400s in 69.
Why then are there TAs with AC and 4 speed?
68 started that option ban,I had one and added factory AC to it.
Having a daily driver without AC down here is something I wouldnt wish on anyone.
I also see that POA conversion and all the untidiness that goes with it.

Im going to edit this after looking at a 69 service manual
the rear end usage and identification chart basically mimics the 68 chart
in that 350 was the biggest you could get with 4 speed and AC.
But this is a book that was published Sept 68 and Im sure things changed after that.
Im guessing this car was a TH400 and converted or maybe is was just completely bastardized.
Still a beautiful car but as notated not $80k worth
