Default 1966 GTO Hearse

Here's a Pontiac you don't see every day.
It's for sale in Belgium and it was built at the GM plant in Continental, Antwerp, Belgium.
It was originally a '66 GTO 2dht that had this hearse conversion,
which propably took some time to do since it's registrered as a '68.

Here's pictures if the link becames unavailable

So it started out as a tri-power Goat ? Only 2 of the 3 carbs missing. Not to mention the manifold.
NOT 66 valve covers
I want the speedometer.

Wink The LAST RIDE

I've seen these before, here's the same car years ago.
Somewhere I have/had info on a '66 Tempest/Lemans OHC 6 powered Hearse with the same Conversion. It was in a Museum somewhere.

Unhappy

Seems it would have been an easier "conversion" to start with a LeMans wagon...

Wow - those before and after photos are quite a difference. I’m puzzled as to why that additional trim tag is in English.
