OEM ‘67 pan and air cleaner with correct black lid.
Who knows what these are really worth as they are few.

Agreed. If you had one of the scarce '67 Ram Air cars, the high price would be justified if it were missing and you needed it for completion. If you just want it for the bling value, forget it. (at least I would!)

Hasn't the '67 pan already been reproduced in steel?
Without having a known original to compare it to I'd be wary of *everything*. Far too many unscrupulous sellers out there, and weathering items is common. |

I would be interested in seeing pictures of your friend’s pan. Years ago I bought one from a well respected member of this forum that was advertised as NOS. Since then I have seen pictures of original pans that have me doubting if mine is NOS. There was no tag or sticker on mine to verify it was GM.

Originals have the Air Injection tube, repops dont. Alot of the air tubes are cut off, like the one shown in the auction, probably for a non-quadrajet carb.

Yes, they've been reproduced in steel for years now.

Ram air pan
The price is outrageous for a used ram air pan. If it was brand new NOS in perfect condition maybe yes. The tube on the lower side is cut off and it originally would have been about 2" to the 90 degree turn and 2" to the end of the tube with a knurreled end. Also the originals had a rubber plug cover that fit over that tube end. Mine cost $750 in 2008 and original plug was included. Try finding the plug now. Good Luck. I wouldn't have paid any more than $900 for that one. If you want pic of original text Larry 440-823-6252.
