Default Looking for muffler similar to Dynomax Super Turbo

I need a shorter muffler than the Dynomax super turbos but with similar characteristics, i.e., quiet but still flows well. Need less than 18" overall length for a dual exhaust system under my old F250. Does anybody use a short but relatively quiet muffler that breathes?

The Dynomax Super Turbo 17734 is 2-1/2” offset/offset and has a 14” long case.

It is louder than the 20” long 17749 but does flow pretty well, maybe too loud for what you’re trying to do unless you’re adding resonators.

I've got Flowmasters (maybe 50 series) on the truck now and they're too loud. Looking for that Dynomax tone but the 17749s are way too long.

I bought a set of each (17734 and 17749). I put the short ones under my '79 10th Anniversary Trans Am (Olds 403) and the long ones under my '67 Cutlass (Olds 330). I didn't find the noise objectionable in either one.

As many know, Pontiac used different length mufflers on dual exhaust systems. Would using a Dynomax 17743 & a 17749 on an A-Body help with potential drone?

I have the 16" 17629 Dynomax SuperTurbos on my GTO. Here is what they sound like with 2.5" exhaust with H-pipe and long-tube headers: https://youtu.be/kXVLnazCMtw?si=HLnLT77jF8beTvQK

Helps a lot to use headphones when watching the video.
