Default GTO Restoration in California?

Hi all,

Can anyone recommend a good , trustworthy resto shop for my 69 Judge? I need a shop with a purist mentality - that I can trust not to swap out my rust free deck lid for their buddy's deck lid from Detroit, etc.

The closer to San Diego, the better -

Thanks!

Wrong direction from San Diego, but I have a family friend who used to work at Advanced Restoration in Sacramento. They recently restored a lot of the Barris cars like the Monkeemobile. Mike, the owner, is an old Pontiac guy from what I hear.

There was a red 1950ish Pontiac back in the 80's that ran in the 10's at Sac Raceway, If I remember right the name on the door was Mike Gray. I think this might be his sons shop.
