Yes sir,
Love getting up before the sun, Roads are usually wide open.
Gives me a chance to run around town and get some errands done before the Zombies wake up

Also like the fact that Zombies don't like to walk very far, so I always seem to get the upper parking levels to myself

I lived at Dam Neck for nearly 3 1/2 years (Navy) back in first half of the 1970's. Loved Va. Beach. The skyline has changed a little since then lol. Nice car!

Finished repairing the headpipes and Y-pipe on the Wangers' "Bandit" Suburban today. The exhaust system was built about 30 years ago, so I can't complain. Nice and quiet inside now. And what sounded like possible pinging is gone.

It was time to move cars around for the season. It is sort of like musical chairs, The Grand Prix has to come out of the corner so that the Firebird can get onto it's winter nest. If I had a bigger garage it wouldn't be all that much work but since I need all the space I can get the car in the corner has to get a]s close to the wall as possible. See you in spring!]ATTACH]622706[/ATTACH[[ATTACH]622705[/ATTACH

If you had a bigger garage?... I'd give my eye teeth for a garage half that nice!

My Pontiac today?
I walked past the front of it and considered the options. The GTO needs a new clutch etc and while rotating the tires on my truck last Saturday, my 25 year old floor jack died. Attempt a fix on the jack or a trip to Harbor Freight for a new one (?) so I can get the car up in the air.

I got one of those lightweight aluminum jacks at HB several years ago and I was skeptical but I hardly ever touch my big cast iron 1960s jack any more. Honestly, it's been flawless....and so much lighter!

Picked my daughter up from school this afternoon in the Goat and took a moment to appreciate the contrast of my gas guzzler against the other eco friendly cruisers. I can say with certain that while my car is green, neither it nor myself is kale powered. Don't get me wrong, I love California, but sometimes it makes fun of itself.

Took Bonne on a roll up to DVAP for a few parts, and ran into her older, bigger Sister.

Mine is put to bed until March. I have to change the rear control arms and bushings. That's the reason the driveshaft is hitting the tunnel when I do a hard stop. I've got a boxed set I bought from Bart a while back and never got them in. I might even add that huge sway bar too.

Hit up cars and coffee a couple of towns over this morning for a 40 mile round trip of mostly freeway driving. Parked next to a '69 Goat and there were a couple nice early '70s Formulas parked down the line.

I noticed a trans leak when I got home which weirdly got me excited because it wasn't a rear main leak! BOP seal seems to be working great so far.

I snugged the pan bolts up, but it looks like it's coming from the vent tube and dripping down the side. Wondering if I just have it overfilled or if I should be thinking about a trans cooler with this TSP converter.

Drove the Catalina about 25 miles today. This is the time of year I start driving mine. Triple black car without air, and i just plain hate summer!

166 miles in the GTO today...just putting on miles and burning up the tires whenever I could. It's the 11th season (almost 20,000 miles) on these tires and I'm definitely putting on new tires before the next driving season.
