Default Cliff Ruggles

Just wanted to say, Thanks to Cliff, for being there when needed.

No, he didn’t pay me 5.00 to post this, and no it’s not a paid advertisement. I don’t usually post stuff like this, but this one is justified.

Some on here will see his posts and think , “here we go again with the same old same old.”

If he tells you something believe it. It’s no skin off him if you do or don’t , but trust me you’ll be better off if you do.

The carb parts are top shelf and if you purchase some you can get the advice you need if you need it. Plain and simple.

Hell, you might even get some extra timing advice even if you don’t think you need it…

I just recently put together one of those 600hp /600 tq setups and it’s just as streetable as he tells you. Had a few questions about that and he was kind enough to explain everything I didn’t know I needed to ask.

That’s pretty hard to come by these days.

Thank Cliff!

P.S. that converter was worth an easy twice what you charged for it. Right out of the box and into the car and never thought about it again till 2-3 days after we’d been driving the car. Wonderful piece of equipment!

A 10 min phone call to Cliff turned my 71 Q-Jet from a bogging fall on your face to a true performance carb.

Thanks again Cliff!!!!!!

I was going to say the same thing! Both have helped me out tremendously and given me plenty of their time over the years. Much appreciated.

I read about everything Cliff posts! I learn a great deal from him and he rebuilt my RAIV Qjet years ago and it runs perfectly. In these days of constant bilge and BS on the internet, it's nice to be able to trust someone's judgment!!!

Cliff is a great guy, he has helped us out several times over the years, we have had him do a couple Distributors for us, and has provided us with Carbs Kits and Parts to get us fixed up, so that we could correctly calibrate Quadrajets in years past. In fact, he is currently helping us correct a custom Quadrajet that was purchased from a "commercial" builder that wasn't correctly setup for our combination. He has a wealth of knowledge on many fronts, which is excellent for our hobby and here on the forum

Cliff is the man. He always responds to my annoying email questions about engine combos. Or tuning advice. I built a couple motors with his advice and following what he has posted. They always turned out killer. Thank you Cliff wish this hobby had more people like you.

Legend has it that Cliff actually invented the quadrajet. He is just too modest to tell anybody

Don't forget carbking, Ol'PinionHead, Scarebird, etc. as experts in their field of interest. Post other names as they come to mind.

I have followed Cliff for a few years and have always trusted the man when it comes to The Quad and any other advise he throws out there.
Another one I have trusted is Lars Grimsrud.
Oh to be a fly on the wall when those 2 get together with the proper bottle O' beverage.
