Cool build! I’m liking the updates. I’ve always found the Brewster green cars to be striking. Nice job on the subwoofer enclosure

Thanks!

When I was going to training in Memphis (Millington actually) I would be on a 3 days on, 4 days off, 4 days on, 3 days off schedule. So I would drive home on the 4 day stretched in the 'bird, to basically, DC. I could do it in about 11 hours. It had 256 gears in the rear at the time, and coming out of the mountains before nashville, downhill, it would bury the 160 speedo. With bullet type glass packs. WOT. Yeah.

Since it was usually a weekday, and I would leave at like midnight, it was pretty wide open the whole way. I would usually hit that downhill straightaway at about sunbreak. Breathtaking. In a number of ways!

At the time, TN cops only had radar guns that went up to 99mph, and didn't share records with other states' DMV. You literally paid the cop the fine on the side of the road. My glovebox was packed with tickets. Wish I would have saved some of those, the notes on some of them were hilarious!

I was assigned to that command for training, and like just about everyone else there, was only there for about 3 months. I was one of the few people that actually had a car, and being like 45min from Memphis, kind of away from civilization, everyone was pretty much stuck going to the base 'club'.

I had a notebook and would book seats in the car to take people off base. I paid for nothing, gas, food, drinks, and even oil changes & tires. I would be booked out for weeks. Weekends usually was for going to Memphis, and knew all the hot spots. Weekdays were for closer 'excursions', and a favorite was going to hang on the banks of the river. The banks were packed with people sitting around fires, grilling, and swimming in the river, you could look up & down the banks both sides and see fires everywhere. Many songs have been written about that stuff!

Couple more pics.

The nose had to be redone, had some adhesion issues, and was able to have him talk to Paul at FAST regarding.

He got it all straightened out, is ready to shoot. The pic of nose was in-process of redo.

He shot the cowl & firewall too. Couple tough up areas to be done on the core support, and will shoot that too.

I know I will have some work to do on the subframe, but can do that once I get it back. It's not worth paying for the hours to have him do it, and should be cake.

He will be spraying the whole car soon, he may have already done it, and just hasn't touched base with me yet. I will ping him next week for a status update.

Yes, green, it's a 2015 Jag color (maybe 2016), can see the code in attached pic.

My understanding is that it's a 1 year only color, due to EPA banning it for the mica or other content. It was actually replaced mid-year, during the production run.

You can still order, but only for 'repair or restoration'.

That info is from 'internet chatter', so no verified. But it is difficult to get.
