Ok, looking like I found a way to get one of them. The GTO is just so appealing for obvious reasons but that GXP is lingering as well. ANy thoughts as to why you would pick one over the other?
With 2 kids the B'ville seems to be the obvious answer but man I want that Goat.

I would probably go with the Bonneville GXP. With it's V8 it should be a very nice performer also.

You forgot the other choice - Buy the GTO & get a Van for your wife to drive the kids around in, used if it helps the wallet!

She has an Envoy, hence my dilemna! I don't "really" need the 4 doors but the pic above is why it's such a tough decision...

I dunno that Bonneville looks too much like the GTO.

Is the Bonnie rear drive? Can you get a six speed? Nuff said.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure the Bonnie is a nice car. But it's not much different than the SSEI or a GTP for that matter (except for size). I love my GTP for what it is. ( 4 door sporty family sedan with decent power and great fuel economy) but I hate the front wheel drive.
What V8 are they using in the GXP?

Northstar V8 275HP. In 2007 GP will be going RWD. The Bonneville most likely will also go RWD in 2006-7
If only Pontiac would make a 2-door Bonneville Coupe. That would be beautiful.

G6 will be offered in sedan, coupe and convertible. The sedan arrives first, the coupe a few months later and then the convertible, though it may be the '06 model year before the drop-top appears.
There will be base, GT and GTP versions, all with front-wheel-drive, though don't rule out all-wheel-drive.
The Epsilon platform is all-wheel-drive capable.

There's talk of supercharging the G6, but not the first year.
Base and GT models will be powered by a 3.5-liter, 200-horsepower V-6 delivering 220 foot-pounds of torque and teamed with a 4-speed automatic with manual mode shifting on the GT.
Later in the model year a GTP sedan and eventually a coupe will be added with a 3.9-liter, 240-h.p. V-6 delivering 245 foot-pounds of torque teamed with the manual mode automatic or a 6-speed manual.
