I recently installed my rear spoiler and now that lid is rather heavy. I understand that the Judges came with a support to hold it open. Are these available anywhere?

They did not come with a support to hold the trun lid open. In '69 both torsion rods were thicker to counter the added weight. In '70 one thicker torsion rod was installed.
I do not know of anywhere you can get repros of these rods. The best you can do is to adjust your rods to the furthest notch to add torsion to them. |

I measure several rods for 69s & found NO difference.
The rods must be in the middle & the closest to the bumper slots. my deck stays up in 50 MPH winds |

YES, they are different, when looking at them alone they may not sppear different but put them side by side and it becomes obvious. I sold a pair on Ebay for 350.
If I remeber correctly one of the pair was 3/16", I can not remember if the Judge was that size or non Judge. |
