Alright, here is my dilema. My '66 Tempest has a chevy 350 in it. It was running rough, so I decided to change the fuel pump. The fuel pump rod was stuck down and I tapped it back up with a hammer. I installed the new pump, but the carb is getting no fuel.
It appears that the fuel pump rod is not going up and down. Did I ruin the Cam Eccentric or possibly the motor? Would it be better just to go with an electric fuel pump? Thanks Also, the casting number on the motor is 3970014 It is a 1970 truck engine, maybe a C-30
